As with all hair dyes, we recommend you to do an allergy alert patch test 48 hours before you color your hair. Apply a small amount of product on your skin on the back of your ear for example and wait 48 hours before washing it off. If irritation occurs, do not go ahead with coloring your hair. You will also find the instructions on peeling the back of pack label. Once you're ready to color, brush your hair thoroughly to remove any tangles. We recommend dampening your hair using your hairbrush in order to get the best color dispersion. Then, section hair and saturate with Super Gloss. We advise the use of disposable gloves, especially if you're using one of our darker shades. Make sure you rinse your hands quickly after use to avoid any staining. Another hack? Use some petroleum jelly around the hairline to protect your skin from stains.

Glaze Super Color Conditioning Gloss is designed to be used on dry hair, before jumping into the shower. For results that will blow your mind away, dampen your dry hair before applying the Super Color Conditioning Gloss.

Yes, after applying the Super Color Conditioning Gloss, wash your hair as you would normally do. You don’t need to use a mask or a conditioner as the Super Color Conditioning Gloss works as a conditioning treatment. Just make sure you wash your hair until water runs clear!

If your hair is slightly darker than you wished, you can immediately wash your hair more often than normal using a non-color-safe shampoo or clarifying shampoo. In most cases, this is all you need to get to the perfect result!

No, our Super Color Conditioning Gloss doesn't contain the bleach, ammonia or peroxide we would need to lighten your hair. We recommend using a permanent dye (in salon or at home) before using Super Gloss if you're after a lighter color. 

We want you to fall in love with your hair - but, if you don't, don't panic! You can wash your hair a little more often (up to 10 washes) or with a detoxifying shampoo, and the color will quickly fade. And if you're still not happy? We'll refund your money on your first box, no problems. Just get in touch with our lovely team (orders@glazehair.co) and we'll sort it.

We created Super Gloss to last 2-3 applications depending on hair length, so you shouldn't need more than a single bottle. We recommend damping your hair before application in order to disperse the product more efficiently. For super long (longer than shoulder length) hair, you'll probably end up using half a bottle. If you run into any difficulties, then email us hey@glazehair.co and we'll try to help out! 

We recommend wearing disposable gloves when using Super Gloss, especially if you're using our darker shades. If you do find your palms stained, don't panic! Super Gloss should come off easily with soap and water. If you're finding the stain a little harder to shift, you can try using hand sanitizer or a facial/body scrub to remove. Having real issues? Yes, Glaze Super Color Conditioning Gloss, a semi permanent hair color, is perfectly safe to use during pregnancy. Semi permanent colors do not fundamentally change the structure of your hair, so should be safe to use with no damage. However, we always recommend applying a patch test before dyeing hair.

If you haven't used Glaze Super Color Conditioning Hair Gloss before, then we recommend you do a skin patch test 48 hours before first use. You will find the instructions on peeling the back of pack label.

Your card will be charged as soon as your order is accepted and processed - it happens pretty quickly.

Our site only bills customers in USD or GBP, if this is not your local currency, the amount on your bank statement will show the amount converted to your local currency using the exchange rate from time of order.

Each bottle of Super Gloss should last 4-5 applications depending on hair length, so you shouldn't need more than a single bottle. We recommend washing your hair with shampoo before application in order to disperse the product more efficiently. For super long (longer than shoulder length) hair, you'll probably end up using a third of a bottle.

For optimal results, use the Mirror Glaze Spray as needed, after washing your hair whenever you want to add extra shine. Results last up to 3 washes.

Mirror Glaze 4-in-1 Super Sleek Shine Spray contains super-silicone Polysilicone 29 so if you're allergic to silicone, unfortunately this isn't for you!

Yes! The formula includes heat protectors that provide protection up to 230°C, helping to shield your hair from the heat of styling tools.

Section hair and spray liberally onto towel-dried hair, avoiding using other styling products until hair is dry. Blow-dry with tension to activate super-sleek, mirror-like magic. This is a heat-activated formulation it must be used with tension and heat to see mirror-shine results.

Here's how the magic happens: you order, we process, then we ship. Ordering takes a couple of seconds. Processing takes an hour or two, and then one of our carriers takes it from there. Orders in the US will take up to 5 working days to arrive, while in the UK you should be receiving your order within 3 to 4 days. Orders placed after 11am will be processed the following working day. You'll get a notification when your package leaves our warehouse. If it's been a day or two and you still haven't received anything, let us know (orders@glazehair.co).

It's perfect for natural, virgin hair: it will not drastically change your color but it enhances your natural look, giving your hair multi-dimensional tones and boosting shine without having to commit to permanent color. A permanent color penetrates your hair cuticles inside the hair shaft, reacting to form large color molecules that are trapped in the hair shaft until you re-color it, let it grow out or cut it off. It will normally contain ammonia or peroxide and can cover greys.

A hair gloss adds a boost of color by depositing pigments that sit on top of your hair cuticle, not inside the shaft. It adds shine, refreshes your color – natural or not – and nourishes your hair so it looks and feels super soft, healthy and glossy, although it's not designed to cover greys. No ammonia or peroxide required.

A toner is a demi-permanent dye that is used to correct unwanted undertones. It uses color theory to neutralise yellow tones (by applying purple dyes) or reddish tones (by using blue or green dyes). It works to enhance your color.

Henna is a plant-based orange/red hair dye that has been used forever (literally since Ancient Egypt!) as a permanent color. The color results depend on the color of the hair and can range from red to auburn to burgundy. It binds with the hair protein and doesn't damage the hair since it doesn't contain ammonia and it's 100% natural. It can strengthen the hair and make it more shiny. 

Glaze Super Gloss is not plant based but it does have some naturally occuring ingredients like Babassu Oil to condition and nourish your hair. We also have more shades than just red - although we like to think our Glace Cherry red shade rivals a Henna impact!

This is the beauty of Glaze Super Gloss! Everything you need comes in a single bottle, ready and super easy to use. No need to mix it, no mess in the bathroom and no need to wait too long with wet hair risking a cold. Just apply it straight from the bottle on dry hair and leave for 10 minutes before washing it off.

No, Glaze Super Gloss doesn't contain peroxide, and therefore cannot lighten your hair. We recommend picking a shade that matches or is darker than your current color for best results. 

Up to 10 washes. You don't need to worry about re-growth and can reapply as many times as you like for that salon-fresh feeling!

Interesting question! Darker shades are more pigmented, so will take longer to rinse off (try Sleek Espresso or Luminous Liquorice for the gothcore aesthetic of your dreams) - while our blonde toning shade, Iced Pearl, will kick out the yellow brassy tones in your hair. We recommend using Super Gloss regularly to keep your color looking fresh.

As often as you like! Think of Super Gloss like a lip balm for your hair - you can use it every day to keep hair soft, shiny and nourished, or just when you feel like your hair needs an extra kick of vibrancy. Some of us use it every time we wash our hair, others like to save it for a special self care moment - you do you, no judgement! 

Semi-permanent hair dye is a short term hair color boost. Instead of penetrating the hair cuticle, the dye coats the surface of each hair. This means that hair is less damaged, and the color will slowly wash off over time with normal shampoo.

It depends on the type of dye! Glaze Super Gloss lasts for up to 10 washes, while other semi permanent hair dyes last for less time. 

Semi permanent color doesn't fundamentally change the structure of your hair, which means no damage. Glaze Super Color Conditioning Gloss was formulated specifically to make your hair look and feel healthier!

A hair glaze is a semi-permanent hair color treatment that's designed to add shine, reduce frizz and flyaways, and nourish hair. 

This product contains ingredients that may cause skin irritation on certain individuals, and a preliminary sensitivity test should be done before using the product, following instructions below. Do not use to dye eyebrows or eyelashes as severe inflammation of the eye or even blindness may result.

1. Cleanse a small area of the skin, behind the ear or on the inner forearm, with soap and water.

2. Apply a small quantity of the product to the area and allow it to dry.

3. After 48 hours, gently wash the area with soap and water.

4. If irritation occurs, do not use this product.

Allergic reactions can occur even after years of trouble free use. We recommend carrying out the allergy test before each application.

Our Super Color Conditioning Gloss doesn't contain any PPD (paraphenylenediamine, or p-paraphenylenediamine) - however, we always recommend conducting an Allergy Alert Test 48 hours before using Super Gloss, as allergic reactions can occur even after years of trouble free use. 

Step 0.5 - take a "before" picture to submit to our Instagram, @glaze_hair. We want to see your transformations! 

Step 1 - apply Super Gloss to dry or damp hair. 

Step 2 - wait 10 minutes. Do a facemask, paint your nails, doomscroll IG - whatever floats your boat.  

Step 3 - rinse 'til water runs clear (singing in the shower not necessary, but recommended) 

Step 4 - blow dry and style as usual. 

Step 5 - wow them all with your super shiny, super soft, super vibrant hair (and tag us in your pics!)

Reaching those tricky spots is super easy with a hair claw – we've developed a pretty Glaze claw exactly for this purpose. Use the claw to scrape back the top part of your hair (on the crown of your head), then comb the Super Gloss through the loose hair at the back of your head until it's completely saturated in product. Or, ask a friend to help! Glazing with a friend is highly recommended. 👯‍♀️

Split your hair into three sections using two hair clips or elastic bands. Make two buns on the top left and right sections of your hair, leaving the back loose. Then distribute Glaze Super Gloss evenly in each section. Easy as 1-2-3. 

Set your timers for 10 minutes after you've saturated your hair. The best hair of your life is on its way! 

First of all, chill: our gentle formulation means that Glaze Super Gloss won't damage your hair, even if you leave it on for longer than 10 minutes. Actually, leaving Super Gloss on for longer than 10 minutes will only mean your color is a bit more intense than expected - but don't worry, if you're not a fan it will fade over the next few washes!

NGL, Glaze Super Gloss can sometimes cause stains, especially if you're using our darker shades - so be careful when applying. We'd recommend using gloves or washing your hands thoroughly with soap and warm water immediately after applying. If the formula comes in contact with any surface, make sure to wipe it off immediately. And when you rinse your color off in the shower, make sure that water runs clear before stepping out. If any dye gets on your towels or clothes, put them in the laundry right away.

YES! This is what we made Glaze for - giving your hair color a refresh and a kick so that your color looks fresh longer. And you can sit back and relax, your salon color is safe with us - Super Gloss will not drastically change, but rather enhance natural or salon-treated tones.  

You can wash your hair more often than normal, or use a detoxifying shampoo, if you experience unwanted results. Glaze Super Gloss lasts up to 10 washes. 

Yes, although Super Gloss won't clean your hair (it does a lot, but not quite everything - yet!). We recommend applying Super Gloss to dry or damp hair before jumping in the shower, but, in a pinch, you can either shampoo after application or use Super Gloss in place of your regular conditioner. Both of these will give a less vibrant result than using on clean, dry hair, so be warned!

Super Gloss is totally free from metallic salts which could cause a reaction with Henna. However, we cannot 100% confirm that Super Gloss is 100% suitable for use on hair dyed previously with Henna. We always recommend doing a patch test and monitoring closely for 48 hours to check whether there is any reaction. 

Yes, Glaze Super Gloss will work just as well on wigs or hair extensions as it does on the hair God gave you. Just make sure that the color doesn't cover the bonds on your extensions, as this can cause them to slip. Wigs and extensions MUST be made of real human hair.

Glaze Super Color Conditioning Gloss isn't designed to cover grays. It doesn’t contain ammonia or peroxide, which means the color pigments don't penetrate the hair cuticle but instead sit on top of it, fading out over time. This is why it is keratin-safe and it won't damage your hair – but it does mean that if you're looking to cover your grays, you might want to consider a permanent color first. 

Absolutely. If you've previously gone blonder than your virgin hair colour, and your hair is now showing reddish or yellow tones, Glaze Super Gloss can help fix this brassiness and also address fading color. Just choose the shade that best matches your current look and apply generously. If you're a super bleach blonde, our Pearl Blonde shade contains purple dyes that neutralise yellow tones and kick brassiness to the kerb. 

Yep – if you've previously colored your hair and feel it needs a refresh, Glaze Super Gloss adds a brilliant boost to your tones.

100% yes! Glaze is perfectly safe to use on natural, virgin hair. It will give a kick to your natural color without drastically changing it, working like a deep conditioning treatment for ultra shine and super softness. You can use the closest shade to your natural color, or use our Transparent Sheer Glow Glaze Super Gloss with no color pigments to deeply condition your hair, revive your natural color, and give you super glossy and shiny locks. Easy!

Totally! Our blondes aren't only there to reduce brassiness. We have three shades of blonde: 

Pearl Blonde: our lightest shade of blonde, with a purple based toning dye. If you color your hair and are used to shade numbers, this would be a #9. Use this if your hair is bleached and you want to enhance your color while kicking out any brassiness.

Beach Blonde: the classic golden blonde. This would be the equivalent of a shade #8. Use this if you have light to medium blonde hair and want to enhance your color without brassiness. 

Honey Blonde: our darkest shade of blonde and the equivalent of a shade #7. Use this if your hair is dark blonde, or if you are a light blonde and want to go darker for a few weeks.

Whether you're a natural brunette or have colored your way there, you can use any of our richly intense darker shades. Choose between: 

Sleek Espresso: Rich, deep, cool brown tones for medium or dark brown hair. Our darkest brown, it's the equivalent of a shade #4. Even better than your morning cup of espresso! 

Blazing Brown: Neutral, medium brown tones for light or medium brown hair. It's the equivalent of a shade #5. 

Chocolate Gleam: Warm, medium brown tones for light or medium brown hair. Our lightest brown, it's the equivalent of a shade #6. Delicious! 

For those with intoxicating black locks, we have two tones you can choose from:

Luminous Liquorice: This is closest to a #2 in the permanent color world. If you have neutral soft black tones or dark brown to natural black hair, this is the shade for you. It will neutralise red tones from dark hair. And although it won't cover greys, it will give a kick to your color vibrancy. 

Bright Ebony: Our darkest shade with multi-dimensional tones of blue, this would be the equivalent of a permanent color #1. If you want a cool striking black and already have black hair, this is the shade made for you.

Definitely not - please do not let the product anywhere near your eyes. It is not designed to touch the delicate skin around the eye area. If you get a little bit of Super Gloss around your eyes, please rinse with lukewarm water immediately, and contact your doctor if you have any concerns. 

As a 100% cruelty free brand, we cannot recommend using Super Gloss on our furry friends! Leave their coat as nature intended, and focus on your own locks!

We formulated our Super Gloss to work with all hair types, textures and tones - so everyone can be Always Hair Ready! 

Absolutely! Glaze Super Gloss can be used on all types of hair. It leaves a sleek, frizz-free shine on all types of curls. 

Absolutely! We advise checking out some of the before & afters available on our homepage or product pages to decide which is the best shade for you. Super Gloss will leave a delicious, shining gloss on all types of hair. 

No! Hair Gloss is a semi permanent hair color, which does not fundamentally change the color or structure of your hair - which means it stays damage free! Glaze Super Color Conditioning Hair Gloss is specifically designed to make your hair look and feel healthier. 

We would always advise doing a strand test before using Super Gloss. Using Super Gloss to darken your hair does risk staining, especially on blonde hair and highlights. We would strongly recommend using a permanent color before Super Gloss if you'd like to go darker. 

I'm so sorry to hear that you had a bad experience using Super Gloss! Unfortunately our dark brunette shades do come with a risk of staining on blonde/more porous hair due to the dyes used. This should fade out in the next couple of washes, and you can expedite the process by using a clarifying or detoxifying shampoo. Yes, Glaze is a cruelty free brand and we are committed to always being cruelty free. This means we do not test on animals at any stage of product development, and we will only work with vendors who uphold the same standards. We are also proud to share that our products are certified cruelty-free by PETA’s Global Beauty Without Bunnies program!

Yes, all Glaze formulas are vegan which means we are committed to stay away from all ingredients deriving from animals. 

We believe in Always being Kind. We try to reduce our carbon footprint as much as possible, and work to offset any elements that we can't find a way around (yet!). Our products are Carbon Neutral Certified. Unfortunately due to the dyes present in Super Gloss we have had to use virgin plastic on our bottles for the moment - however, we've ensured that they are completely recyclable, so please make sure you pop the bottle in your recycling once you've taken a moment to admire your gorgeous, glossy hair. 

The only oil we have in our formula is Babassu Oil - that gives your hair a gorgeous shine! No palm oils have been used. 

Glaze is entirely Gluten Free. It does not contain any ingredients derived from wheat or wheat protein. 

Yes, our formulas are totally safe to use when pregnant or nursing. We’ve also infused our formula with multiple conditioning ingredients including Babassu Oil to protect and nourish your hair.

Our Super Gloss bottles are not recycled, in to maintain the stability and safety of the ingredients (we run a LOT of tests to make sure the packaging and the formula can live together!) - but we made sure that they're all fully recyclable to reduce the overall amount of virgin plastic in the world. So please make sure you put the bottle in the plastic recycling bin, once you've admired your super glossy hair!

Glaze will last on your shelf for 3 years if the bottle is closed, and 12 months while opened. Honestly, we'll be mega impressed if you've managed to keep Glaze for that long without using it all up! 

We manufacture our formulas in Italy and Mexico, to try to reduce the supply chain.

Super Gloss should be kept at a normal room temperature (around 70°F). Please keep it out of direct sunlight.
